In 1853, the church and the religious buildings were taken over by a community of Benedictine sisters who live on the site, splitting their time between prayer and work. For more than 60 years, they have been creating a range of cosmetic products, sold in the store. The abbey is on the GR 300 (Santiago de Compostela Road), pilgrims and hikers can benefit from a monastic welcome.
