Saint-André de Taxat - 6 km

1 - From the parking lot, turn left onto Grande Rue and head to the Belvédère (viewpoint).
2 - Walk down the small road below the Belvédère (toward PR 11, 12, and 44). Before the covered washhouse (signs), take the grassy path that descends to the left (toward Le Peyrou – PR 44; there’s a fountain nearby). After 600 m, at the fork in the road (signs), go up to the left (toward PR 44) and reach the D 183.
3 - Turn right and, immediately, take the trail down to the left. Cross a wooded area, walk along a hedge at the bottom of a field, then follow a grassy path until you reach a road.
4 - Take the road to the left. At the intersection, turn right, and immediately head up to the left through the grass along a low wall. Turn left at the foot of the Saint-André de Taxat church and rejoin the road. Then head uphill straight ahead on Rue des Tourraux (toward Le Peyrou – PR 44). The road quickly turns into a dirt path. Pass a trail on the left between two hedges, then after 400 m, turn left (panoramic view, from west to east: the Colettes Massif, Bellenaves, Taxat-Senat, Chezelle, Chantelle, Taxat, Ussel-d’Allier). Pass a crossroads, then head up the first path on the left. Join a trail (signposted).
5 - Head up to the left (GR 300, white-and-red markings). On the Peyrou plateau, turn left to leave the grassy path and join a trail. Continue to the right toward Charroux (view of the village).
6 - At the D 183 (washhouse), head uphill to the right, continue to the Belvédère (a second washhouse along the way) and the parking lot.
